So, Why THIS Kaya?
You might be surprised to find out that there is an element in Kaya that we dislike. The eggy taste just didn't sit right with us, and so we came up with this amazing idea to use coconut to rid the eggy taste
It is textured with freshly steamed salted coconut shreds, the pink himalayan salt plays two roles here: first, as a palate teaser, secondly, as a natural preservative for the coconut. Fresh cold pressed coconut juice is cooked with freshly made egg custards that is sweetened with 100% pure gula melaka. Another good news, oat milk is used in this recipe.
