Golden Ear Imperial Brew - Limit to 6 per customer
Limit purchase to 4 bottles per customer only.
My mom first learnt of Golden Ear from a very old book and she wanted us to pay tribute to it, namely 本草纲目,Compendium of Materia Medica which was a compilation of medica ingredients writen in 1596, by Mr Li Shizhen 李時珍. Many of those ingredients no longer exist today. Mr Li ShiZhen was the most known Medical Scientist & Pharmacist in China's history. He dedicated his life to publish his medical knowledge at a time where most would kept it for fame and wealth. He was bold and penned many non-clinical ideas which was contentious but his knowledge was indisputable even by his greatest foe.
Golden Ear fungus was highly honored, named noble of all fungus and served to the Imperial court. It is not known today because it is not commonly available. We bought ours from Hong Kong. It grows in four seasons but only on highland and are wild harvested in Yunnan, Tibet, Shanxi mainly.
This brew is cooked over 2 rounds of preparation over 72 hours with 6 other ingredients including melon, dates, apricot kernels for a nourishing soothing effect that is good for all weather. It is a very interesting brew dessert, regardless how chilled it has been kept (we tried it at 1 celcius), it comes into your mouth & throat down soothing and mollifying, without the feeling of chill, unlike any cold beverages.
Portion & Package: Packed in a 500ml bottle, refundable for 50cents.
To Serve: No freezing, keep in fridge for up to a week. We recommend to drink it chilled but you may drink at any temperature from boiling, room, or chilled. Freezing is not the way for any brew. Please eat the Golden Ear fungus after the drink.
